Not an Emergency Service
Nearwise Health CANNOT detect, respond to, or escalate medical or safety emergencies. Gloria cannot call 911. If you or your loved one are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not rely on Nearwise Health for emergency detection or response.
Gloria Is an AI — Not a Human
Gloria is a fully automated artificial intelligence system. No human employee is present during Gloria’s communications. Gloria identifies itself as AI at the start of every interaction.
No Guarantee of Detection
Nearwise Health makes no warranty that any health concern, cognitive change, emotional distress, safety risk, or emergency mentioned during a Care Recipient interaction with Gloria will be detected, flagged, summarized, or communicated to any party. AI-generated summaries are imperfect and may miss significant events.
Not HIPAA Compliant
Nearwise Health is not a HIPAA-covered entity. The Service does not provide HIPAA-protected communications. Do not share or store Protected Health Information through the Service with any expectation of HIPAA protections.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nearwise Health’s total liability for any claim arising from use of this website or Service is capped at three months of fees paid. Nearwise Health is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including damages for personal injury or wrongful death.
